Drugs are sold in schools. You get bullied around in school. You get bullied around in prison. You can get shanked in prison. You can get shot in school. koalabear07100 You should be thankful that you’re getting an education. Please take a minute to realize, hey, my life is pretty damn good. School is not that bad. You are bettering yourself and creating new relationships and if you just look at it positively, it’s fun. So what if you have a shitty teacher or have to, gee i don’t know, WORK for a good grade? That’s what life is! School is not “hell” and if you think it is you’ve got a biig storm coming. If you were in prison I guarantee you would do anything to be in a high school instead. This video is basically spitting on everything America has worked so hard to get. People take education so much for granted. People like Malala Yusofasi would kill to be in these positions where education isn’t even a question. Our education system may not be perfect (none are) but it is beautiful nonetheless. Any kid despite their race, nationality, gender, etc can receive an education and that is something we should appreciate. Prison is nothing like high school. The poor school lunches does not make prison a better place. Young Rokito I’d rather be at my house. Both fucking suck. Sugar Cookie How can they even compare prison to school? At a prison, you live there for however long you sentence is, so you only get 2 hours of outside time PER DAY. That is 22 hours to spend inside. At school, you have about an hour of outside time, then you go home for FAR longer then what prisoners get. And OF COURSE a prison meal is more nutritious then a school one. In prison you have every meal there, and at school it is just a lunch. You have breakfast (whatever you like) at home, morning tea and lunch at school, afternoon tea (whatever you feel like at the time) and dinner AT HOME! How can you even compare these! This makes me really annoyed. Negative Neutral My old school: 1. Chunks in milk 2. Tacos that make people sick (Literally made me throw up) 3. Pasta with with tomato sauce 3 times a week (May sound ok but tasted sub par and gets old fast) Balssou Well, at school we have less chances to get rapped. I go for school, really. cat mlprandom School, I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t ever feel like being raped MrHappyRandomness Id say school, and heres why: 1: I dont need to go outside IN school. I can just play outside when i get home 2: Lunch: Bring a pack lunch 3: Cost: A lot of people can get financial help with getting things such as textbooks, writing utensils, and binders. Thats just MY opinion. :) Ulquiorra Cifer I hate school. It seems of pointless. We start school at 5 and spend the next 13 years getting an education, most of us want to get an advanced education so we go to college and that’s at least another 4 years. So that’s a total of 17 years of work, but we’re not done there, next we have to get jobs. We work at those jobs we worked so hard to get and along the way we get married and have a few kids. And we keep on working paying for food, clothes, etc. Finally we get to retire at the age of 65 and we finally get to rest after 60 years of pointless work. We spend the next 10, 15, or if we’re lucky 20 years in our old age waiting to die. And that’s how the average human life is spent. DeltaSpartan Prison doesn’t sound too bad Julianne Hannes Yeah but kids in school get to go home after 6hours, people in prison don’t get to go home, they’re there 24/7, no bell excusing them at 2:45pm, no weekend breaks, no summer vacations. School is a nightmare but prison is hell. Sar LovesYou I’m not saying prison is better than school but the food thing bothers me. Ever since that “healthy food” initiative was put into play school food is ‘healthy’ but tastes awful. Don’t tell me it’d kill the schools or government to fund a bit more money to schools to make good tasting food that is healthy, it’s very possible to do that. Even though they’re trying to reduce obesity it’s not working very well….mainly because kids don’t eat the food they have because it tastes awful! I’m vegetarian, so I pack my own lunches that are healthy and taste great! It’s complete bull. Canadian Totoro Why do they make prison inmates work out and run laps? Doesn’t that just make it easier to break out? Hairyfoot Where would I rather be…prison or school… What a stupid question. In prison you are locked in a single room for the majority of your time there, in school you go home mid-afternoon. MrMonkeyfer Sooooooo…. School is worse than prison? Ryan101 stupid fucking thing to ask and anyone with enough knowledge would say school sen8tor174 Prison is clearly the worst choice, prisons are not co-ed, no dances, you don’t go home after 8 hrs a day, five days a week of school instead of life in a 10×6 cell, and yes there are more GED s in prison. they did not say how many persons have a high school diploma compared to that of GED s. Buzz feed is trash. SV650Dude The first one is complete bollocks, inmates get 2 hours out of 24 hours, that is 8.33% . Kids are only at school about 6 hours. If they have 30 mins that is 8.33%. They can go outside for hours when they get home. To summarise, Prisoners spend 8.33% of their PRISON day outside and kids spend 8.33% of their SCHOOL day outside. Maths, Bitch! Sergeant Froakie THis has finally opened my eyes…. BAI-BAI, SYL, PACK THE CAR ‘CAUSE WE GONNA PRETEND THAT THE PURGE STARTS NOW! *Puts on epic sunglasses* SylvesterrSan In the US? School because I won’t get murdered. rimi1998 Can you re do this one and just use the scandinavian versions instead? XD Szczurzysława In my former high school we had none of the time outside =-= doors were locked, just like balconies and bigger windows. Sibani Nachadalingam Yeah that’s accurate XLautyx11 remeber kids, if you don´t like school food, sell drugs or murder a hooker to get in prision IF I SEE NEGATIEVE NON SARCASTIC REPLY I WILL RAPE YOUR FAMILY Jnaejnae J. Hey so here is why prison is good but also why it sucks. Many people get misinformation of prison from movies and articles. Most decent prisons have television, gym, education, and shared cells. Most cells will have two bunk beds, so you aren’t gonna be locked in this small dark dungeon alone kinda thing but those other people have a high change being dangerous. Rapes, harassment, and such are not as bad as they look but it really varies with prisons. A good prison in the US is not really THAT bad if you don’t stay there for too long. That is where prison sucks. I don’t know about you but being confined in one building for maybe 2-20 years or even your WHOLE LIFE is not fun. ESPECIALLY if you are claustrophobic, you would probably kill yourself if you are bad in small space. in prison your death isn’t much of a problem so they generally don’t try to hard to keep you alive. Whereas teachers and such will go to jail IF they let a kid die so you are MUCH more safe in school. Harassment is gonna happen but mostly it is just a step up from school bullying. I am not saying it isn’t that bad, just saying it really isn’t TOO bad.
